Densely caespitose, with flat rosettes. Leaves rather coriaceous, patent, obovateoblong, with broad, rather low crenations and a conspicuous cartilaginous border; petiole broad and flat, scarcely as long as lamina, densely ciliate. Petals with numerous red spots; ovary rather small; styles suberect. 2« = 28. • W. & C. Pyrenees. G a Hs [Br?It].
