Annual to perennial, usually becoming woody at base; stems up to 50 cm, erect. Lower leaves long-petiolate, lyrate-pinnatifid, with 2-3 pairs of rounded or obtuse lobes, the terminal lobe much larger than lateral, suborbicular, hispid; upper leaves smaller, pinnatilobed to entire. Sepals suberect; petals 9-10 mm, yellow. Siliqua 15-40x 1 -5-2 mm, constricted at intervals, stipitate, the stalk 1-3 mm; beak 2-7 mm, 0-1- seeded. Mediterranean region. Ga *Gr Hs It Sa Si.
