Stolons 5-8 cm, stout; rosettes 2-5-5 cm in diameter, subglobose, forming a loose mat. Leaves c. 20 x 8 mm, oblong-spathulate, apiculate, finely pubescent, unequally ciliate, dark green with a dark red apex. Flowering stem 15-20 cm.
