Rosettes 3-7 cm in diameter, open, with patent or suberect leaves 15-20 x 5-6 mm, broadly lanceolate, dark green not tipped with red, glandular-ciliate but otherwise glabrous. Cauline leaves 15-2 0x7-1 0 mm, subamplexicaul. Sepals ciliate. Petals 15- 17 mm, fimbriate. • C. Europe and N.W. part o f Balkan peninsula, mainly in the mountains. Al Au Cz Hu It Ju Po Rm Rs (W).
