Like 10 but with the leaves flat on the upper surface and aggregated on the non-flowering shoots into dense, cone-like terminalrosettes, the rest of the shoots being clothed with persistent dead leaves; inflorescence sometimes flat-topped; sepals 2- 5 mm, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse. Often in damper places than 10. W. Europe. *Az Be Br Ga Ge fHo Hs Lu.
