Caespitose perennial up to 20 cm, woody at the base and covered with persistent leaf-bases. Basal leaves lanceolate or linear; cauline leaves linear; all silvery-tomentose. Petals 5 mm, white. Silicula 5 mm, obovoidglobose, lepidote or glabrous; style 0- 5 mm. Seeds very narrowly winged. Cliffs. Mountains of C. Italy and W. partof Balkan peninsula. Al Gr It Ju.
