Like 1 but leaves c. 1 mm wide; silicula inflated; style 3-5-7 mm. Mountain rocks. N. Balkan peninsula, Alpi Apuane, Appennini; Sicilia; Pyrenees (Haute Ariège). Al G a It Ju Si. Glabrous and hairy-fruited plants ( var. eriocarpa (Guss.)) may occur in the same populations. The var. erioscapa (Caruel) with more or less hispid scape, occurs throughout the range and replaces the type in the single station in France.
