Biennial or perennial 10-45 cm, subglabrous to densely tomentose with stellate hairs. Basal leaves usually sinuate-dentate; cauline denticulate or entire, sagittate-amplexicaul. Petals 4-8 mm, white; anthers c. 1 mm. Siliqua 10-25 mm, glabrous; style 0-5-0-8 mm. 2« =24. Saline habitats. U.S.S.R., from S.W. Ukraine to E. Russia and W. Kazakhstan. Rs (W, K, E).
