Glabrous or sparsely glandular biennial or perennial 25-120 cm. Leaves usually all pinnatifid. Petals 4—8 mm, yellow, entire or truncate. Silicula 5-10 mm, asymmetrically ovoid and covered with irregular protuberances; loculi 1-2; style 0-5-2 mm. 2«=14. E. Europe, extending westwards to Hungary; often naturalized as a weed elsewhere.
