(a) Subsp. simplex View in CoL ( T. strictum Ledeb. ): Leaflets oblong-cuneate, lobed or dentate. Inflorescence usually leafy to the apex; flowers numerous, pedicels short. 2n=56. Throughout the range o f the species except the extreme north.
