Glabrous perennial 10-30 cm, shortly rhizomatous with fibrous roots. Leaves mostly cauline, like those of 5. Flowers white, few, erect. Perianth-segments not more than 10 mm. Achenes 2-6, subsessile, narrowly oblong, sulcate; beak short. S. Greece (foothills of Taiyetos). Gr. (5. Anatolia, N. Syria.)
