Lower leaves divided into (9-) 17-20 narrowly elliptical, glabrous segments; petiole more or less terete. Flowers 8-10 cm in diameter, red. Filaments yellow. Follicles 2-4, 3-4 cm, densely tomentose. 2« = 10. • S. & W. Spain; Portugal. Hs Lu.
