Almost glabrous perennial up to c. 30 cm. Stems simple or nearly so. Basal leaves ovate-cordate in outline, deeply pedately 5- to 9-lobed; segments usually entire; cauline leaves sessile or nearly so, deeply divided into linear, entire lobes. Receptacle pubescent. Sepals patent, villous beneath. Honey-leaves c. 10 mm, little longer than sepals. Achenes c. 2 mm, obovoid, scarcely compressed, puberulent; beak subulate, deciduous. Spitsbergen. Sb.
