Small shrub 30-60 cm. Leaves 3-5 mm wide, rather thick, linear-oblong; lower obtuse; upper acute. Flowers in bracteate heads; pedicels short. Epicalyx-scales 12-16, obovate, acuminate. Calyx 25- 3 0x4-5 mm, almost cylindrical. Petal-limb 10-15 mm, dentate, bearded, pink. Mallorca, S. Italy, Sicilia. BI It Si.
