Like 53 but larger (c. 30 cm); tubers oblong to cylindrical; leaf-lobes obtuse; pedicel slender; sepals pubescent; beak of achene nearly straight. • France, Italy, Jugoslavia, Albania. Al G a It Ju. Plants intermediate between 53 and 54 sometimes occur.
