Stems 3-25 cm, glandular-pubescent below, glabrous above. Leaves 1 0-2 0x1-2 mm, linear to linear-spathulate, pubescent. Inflorescence few-flowered; pedicels many times as long as calyx, filiform. Calyx 2-5 mm or less, glandular-puberulent. Petals 3-4 mm, white, bilobed. Seeds with long, acute conical tubercles. Gypsaceous semi-deserts. S.E. Russia and W. Kazakhstan. Rs (E). (W.C. Asia.)
