Laxly caespitose perennial 15-30 cm, with long, trailing woody stems. Basal leaves usually 15-30 mm, linear, acuminate, with 3 prominent veins beneath; cauline smaller, 3-7 pairs. Flowers usually solitary. Epicalyx-scales 4-6, ovate, acute or acuminate, usually entirely brown, c. | as long as calyx. Calyx 12-15 x c. 3 mm, tapering from near the base, becoming cylindrical in fruit. Petal-limb c. 3 mm, rather deeply dentate, pink. • Mountains o f S. Greece. Gr.
