(a) Subsp. ligusticum View in CoL (C. campanulatum Viv. ): Rarely more than 15 cm. Leaves up to 20 mm. Bracts herbaceous. Sepals 4-6 mm; stamens 10. Seeds0-5-0-65mm. 2/z = 34. Almost throughout the range o f the species, but apparently absent from Sardegna.
