Annual 8- 80 cm; stem with glandular and short eglandular hairs. Leaves up to 60 mm, ovate, oblong-ovate or lanceolate, with more or less numerous eglandular and glandular hairs. Pedicels longer than sepals; bracts herbaceous or with a narrow scarious margin. Sepals 3-10 mm, lanceolate, acute, with numerous glandular and eglandular hairs not exceeding the apex, margin scarious; petals from I as long to nearly 11 as long as sepals, strongly ciliate at base; stamens 5-10; styles 5. Capsule up to twice as long as sepals. Seeds 0-6-1 mm. • Balkan peninsula, Romania. Al Bu G r Ju Rm.
