(incl. S. nevadensis Boiss. ).

Like 1 but flowers somewhat inclined; calyx 8-13 mm; petals greenish; capsule always longer than carpophore, and sometimes almost twice as long. C., E. & S. Spain; S. Portugal. Hs Lu.

The ratio of the length of the capsule to the length of the carpophore is unusually variable in this species.
