Densely caespitose perennial; flowering stems 5-9 cm, glandular-pubescent. Leaves 6- 16 mm, narrowly linear, cilia usually absent; leaves of flowering stems shorter and wider. Flowers solitary, rarely in pairs. Sepals 5-7 mm, linear-oblong, glandular-pubescent; petals twice as long as sepals. Capsule 1^-2 times as long as sepals. Seeds 1-1-5 mm, bluntly tuberculate on back. N. Ural (mouth o f Kara river). Rs (N). (Siberia.)
