Stems up to 60 cm, with one line of hairs down each of the lower internodes, glandular-pubescent all round above. Leaves puberulent above. Inflorescence glandular-pubescent, dense. Sepals 4-5-6-5 mm; petals equalling or slightly shorter than sepals; stamens usually 5-10. Seeds 1-1-3 mm, with conical tubercles. S. Balkan peninsula and Aegean region.
