Lax, ascending; branches long. Leaves 2-3-5 x 0-7-1-1 cm, cuneate,

rounded or subacute at apex, veins more distinct than in 9 and 11, more shiny; petiole 1-2 mm. Catkins 2-4 x 1 cm, with 10-25 flowers, developed with the leaves. Style as long as the ovary. • Carpathians. Cz Po Rm Rs (W).
