Tree up to 35 m. Twigs softly pubescent or glabrous. Leaves suborbicular to ovate, glabrous or softly pubescent beneath; lateral veins 12-19 pairs. Fruit 10-12 mm; seed central. 2n = 28. C., E.& S.E.
