Intermediate between 5 and 7. At least some rhizome-scales with dark central stripe. Pinnae intermediate in shape and texture between those of 5 and 7, with scattered glandular hairs beneath; rhachis reddish-brown, becoming green towards apex. 2/7= 144. Ledges and crevices ofserpentine rocks. • Mountains of E. C. Europe, and isolated localities in Fennoscandia. Au Cz Fe Ge He Ju N o Po Rm Su.
