Leaves 12-30 cm, tufted, persistent; petiole half as long as or equalling lamina; lamina oblonglanceolate, deeply cordate and auricled at base; auricles of young leaves rounded, of mature leaves triangular, more or less lobed, sometimes projecting horizontally for 3-4 cm, and leaves then hastate. Sori elliptical, shorter and wider than in 1. 2zz = 72. Moist shady places. Mediterranean region. BI Co Cr G a G r Hs It Ju Sa Si.
