Like 16 but up to 40 m; bud-scales shining, brown; leaves 60-130 x 0-8-1-2 mm; cone 6-13 x 5-8 cm, more than 1 | times as long as wide; seed with fragile husk. N.E. Russia, westwards to 57° E. Rs (N, C). (A. Asia.)
