Rhizome-scales 5-11 mm, linear-lanceolate. New leaves produced in autumn; leaves ovate to triangular-ovate; pinnae narrow, acute, usually dentate, the basal pair projecting forward; secondary veins with 3—4(—6) bifurcations.
