(5. apus Spring). Stem less than 30 cm, dorsiventral, creeping, not articulated, not much branched. Leaves up to 3 mm, dimorphic, 4-ranked, denticulate, markedly asymmetrical. Strobili 0 -5- 2(-3) cm, sessile. Naturalized in Germany. [Ge.] (North America.)
