Mesoleptus laevigatus (Gravenhorst, 1820) View in CoL
Notes
One specimen was found in grass tussocks by Seyrig (1923) in France. Hibernation as an adult does not seem to match the known biology of the genus, which is mainly associated with Diptera ( Jussila et al. 2010) . As this species is also quite common and there are no recent records, new data are needed.
Status: Unverified.
Records: France, 1915-1922.
Hibernacula: LV (1).
Sources: Seyrig (1923) [ Exolytus laevigatus Gr. ].
Also mentioned in: Rasnitsyn (1964) [ E. laevigatus Grav. ].
No known copyright restrictions apply. See Agosti, D., Egloff, W., 2009. Taxonomic information exchange and copyright: the Plazi approach. BMC Research Notes 2009, 2:53 for further explanation.
