Lectotype (Dudley in J. Arnold Arbor. 45: 63. 1964): Herb. Clifford: 329, Clypeola 2 (BM-000646255) .

Current name: Alyssum alyssoides (L.) L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Brassicaceae ).

Note: As noted by Dudley (in J. Arnold Arbor. 45: 65. 1964), this is an illegitimate replacement name for Clypeola alyssoides L. (1753) . However, Botschantzev (in Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 15: 150-151. 1985) incorrectly treats it as the correct name for C. alyssoides and C. campestris L. (1753) , both of which he treats as ambiguous.
