Notes: Halictus (Evylaeus) quadrimaculatus Robertson sensu Viereck et al. (1916) , noted as occurring all over the state, likely included L. birkmanni , but confusion with true L. macoupinense sensu Gibbs et al. (2013) [= divergen s] is likely (see entry for the latter taxon below). Lasioglossum birkmanni has been collected in state parks, forests, and powerline ROW in Connecticut.
