Standard measurements of 10 specimens from Turkey are given in Table 13. TABLE 13. Standard measurements of Neotrombicula delijani .
Type material deposition. Holotype and 1 paratype of N. delijani are deposited in ZMMU. Holotype and paratypes of N. alexandrae are deposited in ZISP.
Type material examined. Holotype (I-158-1787) and paratype of N. delijani ex Meriones persicus , IRAN: Markazi Prov., 16 km N from Delijan, 1600 m a.s.l., 14 October 1969, coll. V.M. Neronov. Holotype (T-Tr.-2) and 7 paratypes of N. alexandrae ex Microtus sp. , Apodemus uralensis , and A. (Sylvaemus) sp., RUSSIA: Adygea, S from Maykop, 29–31 July 1991, coll. AAS.
Material from Turkey examined. 15 larvae (ZISP) ex Chionomys nivalis , Microtus sp. ( one specimen in theriological collection of ZISP, labelled as M. rossiaemeridionalis ), and Apodemus (Sylvaemus) sp. ( one specimen in theriological collection of ZISP, labelled as A. fulvipectus ), Erzurum Prov., 1.5 km N from Güzelyayla, 2300 m a.s.l., 16 June 1998, coll. AAS; 9 larvae (ZISP) ex Chionomys nivalis , Cricetulus migratorius , and A. (Sylvaemus) sp., Erzurum Prov., northern slope of Mescit Range, 2650 m a.s.l., 19 June 1998, coll. AAS; 10 larvae (ZISP) ex Chionomys nivalis and A. (Sylvaemus) sp., Erzurum Prov., 1.5 km S from Ahlatli, 2030 m a.s.l., 20 June 1998, coll. AAS.
Hosts. Chionomys gud (Satunin) , Ch. nivalis (Martins) , Microtus sp. , Cricetulus migratorius (Pallas) , Meriones persicus (Blanford) , Apodemus agrarius (Pallas) , A. ponticus (Sviridenko) , A. sylvaticus (L.), A. uralensis (Pallas) , Talpa caucasica Satunin.
Distribution. Russia ( Volgograd Prov., Krasnodarskiy Krai, Adygea, Stavropolskiy Krai, North Ossetia, Dagestan), Armenia, Iran, Turkmenistan. This species is here recorded from Turkey for the first time.
Remarks. A part of Kepka’s material identified as “ Neotrombicula autumnalis autumnalis ” (namely, 3 specimens from Bornova and 7 specimens from Kavaklidere), judging from the measurements ( Kepka 1966), probably belong to N. delijani .
