Cyrteumenes mochii Borsato, 1999: 108 View in CoL , figs 1–4, ♂, ♀ —“ Madagascar: Ambatofitorahana, 33 km S. Ambosiotra, 20°46'S 47°11'E " ( holotype male MRSN?).

Distribution. Madagascar: Antananarivo *, Fianarantsoa ( Borsato 1999) ( Fig. 63F View FIGURE 63 ).

Notes. Borsato (1999) described Cyrteumenes mochii based on a pair from Ambositra, mainly comparing it with C. seyrigi and secondarily with C. floricola . The Malagasy material collected by A. Mochi on which Borsato based his note is reported as preserved in MRSN and the museum’s loan records also report the material as having been returned in 1997, however none of the specimens were found during a recent search in the Hymenoptera collections (M. Ruzzon, personal communication), making the circumstances of the said material unknown. Given this premise, it was not possible to study the typical series of Cyrteumenes mochii , however, comparison of its description with the available material of Cyrteumenes has allowed association of this name with certainty to a single morphospecies, without the possibility of confusion with the others.
