Remarks: For depositories of type series, see account under PNGM types. Description gave one paratype as 56619, which we assume to be in error for 566, a Laticauda from Ela Beach. Description did not list collectors or dates and gave locality for 5913 as Ela Beach, Port Moresby, National Capital District, PNG. We have not been able to locate the paratype listed by Heatwole et al. as an unregistered specimen from Motupore Island.
