Xenorhina eiponis Blum & Menzies 1988: 154 View in CoL .
Holotype: UPNG 7407, Eipomek, 4 o 26'S 140 o E, Papua Province, Indonesia ( J.P. Blum, 1975). GoogleMaps
Paratype: UPNG 7406, data as for holotype.
Remarks: Type series consists of eight specimens; other paratypes in AMNH, MZB, ZSM. Paratype numbers 7503-05, as cited in the description, were incorrectly given; these numbers apply to snakes and ranid frogs from PNG. It is unclear what the correct numbers are and, hence, these paratypes are indeterminate. Holotype and paratype data given in description as Base Camp, 1800m, Eipomek Valley, Jayawijaya Division, Papua Province, Indonesia (J.P. Blum, vi.1979) and Munggona, 1800m, Eipomek Valley, Jayawijaya Division, Papua Province, Indonesia (J.P. Blum), respectively. The located paratype is well preserved, but faded.
