Paratype: PNGM R24604 (formerly R18958; field number R787), Port Moresby, National Capital District, PNG (collector not stated, 3.x.1967) .
Remarks: Inadvertent description in O’Shea (1996) antedates intended formal description by Wallach (1997). Type series consists of 3 specimens ( Wallach 1997); holotype and other paratype in UPNG. Only the holotype was identified in the earlier description (Wallach in O’Shea 1996), although variation in diagnostic characters and mention of two localities indicates the existence of paratypes. Specimen in reasonable condition.
