Sammuel, 17.viii.1978) ; A22405 View Materials (formerly A14564), Bellavista Community School , 4800ft, Central Province, PNG ( J. Anamiato, 15.viii.1978) ; A22560 View Materials (formerly A19297, R1208), Goldie River , 1800ft, Central Province, PNG ( F. Parker, 18.viii.1968) ; A22586 (formerly A19323, R314), Waigani Swamp , Central Province, PNG ( R. Mackay, F. Remarks: Type series consists of 115 specimens, 67 males and 48 females ( Menzies 1987: 398), although registration numbers for 69 males and 50 females ( Menzies 1987: 416, 418) were presented. Holotype in UPNG, remaining paratypes in AMNH, BMNH, BPBM, MNHN, RMNH, UPNG and private collection of P. Blum, Germany. Menzies listed A22241, A22395, A22397 and A22405 View Materials twice in the paratype series, and did not provide a precise locality for any of the paratypes. Paratypes A19294 and A22560 View Materials not found, nor was any registration card located for the former specimen. A23151 consists of three similar-sized Rana tied together, bearing individual fragile paper tags reading “Agaun A”, “Agaun B” and “Bonenau B”. Locality given above is that on the registration card for A23151. We are unable to determine which two of the three specimens under this number comprise the paratypes. Located paratypes in reasonable to good condition.
