Paratype: PNGM R23452 (formerly R17397; field number R995), Derongo area , 1300ft, Alice River system, Western Province, PNG ( F. Parker, 6.iv.1969) .
Remarks: Type series consists of six specimens; holotype in MCZ, other paratypes in AMNH, MCZ. Description gave the date of collection as 8.iv.1969, but it is given as 6.iv.1969 on the registration card and jar label. Specimen is in moderate to good condition, but with tail broken at base and missing.
