Paratype: PNGM A22242 (formerly A13233), Utu, near Kavieng, New Ireland Province, PNG ( F. Parker, 21.vii.1976) .

Remarks: Type series consists of 17 specimens; holotype in CAS, other paratypes in BMNH, CAS, MCZ, UPNG, USNM. Description gave the locality for this specimen as “near Kavieng”. Specimen in reasonable condition.
