Paratypes: UPNG 837-38, Kaironk, Schrader Range, 2300m, Southern Highland Province, PNG ( J.I. Menzies, 30.viii.1968); 5559, 16km N of Mendi , 2400m, Southern Highland Province, PNG ( J.I. Menzies, 9.vii.1976).
Remarks: Type series consists of 76 specimens; holotype in AMS, other paratypes in AMS, AMNH. Description gave date for 837-38 as 30.viii.1969. All UPNG paratypes very soft.
