Paratypes: UPNG 7025-28, Wirui, 3 o 35'S 143 o 35'E, 1km from Wewak, East Sepik Province, PNG ( R. Stocks, 29.iii.1985) GoogleMaps .

Remarks: Type series consists of nine specimens; holotype in SAMA, other paratypes in AMNH, SAMA. UPNG paratypes incorrectly cited in description as 7205-08 but registration numbers corrected by Burton (1990); date given in description as 29.iii.1983. UPNG paratypes partially skinned and in very poor condition.
