Holotype: UPNG 9361, Mt Opio , 5 o 35'51"S 144 o 47'25"E, Western Highlands Province, PNG ( T. Mala, date of collection not recorded). GoogleMaps
Paratype: UPNG 4147, Kubor Range, Western Highlands Province, PNG ( G. George, 15.xi.1973) .
Remarks: Entire type series of two specimens in UPNG. Zweifel gave the collection data for the holotype as ca 3km E of Mt Opio, 2180m, 5 o 35'51"S 144 o 47'25"E, Western Highlands Province, PNG (T. Mara, 3-9.x.1995) and (2000: captions for Figs. 35-36) alternatively listed the holotype as UPNG 9290; he also reported the date for the paratype as vii.1973. Electronic database incorrectly lists 9361 as a Litoria nigropunctata from Papua Province. Holotype and paratype in good condition.
