Paratypes: UPNG 9529-31, 9534, 9537, 9514-15, 9546-48, Eipomek, Papua Province, Indonesia ( P. Blum, date of collection not recorded) .
Remarks: Type series consists of 14 specimens; holotype in MZB (formerly UPNG 9538), other paratypes in AMNH (formerly UPNG 9535-36). Paratype 9550 is a cleared-and-stained osteological preparation. Description gave data for the paratypes 9529-31, 9534, 9537 as Kosarek, 1400m, Jayawijaya District, Papua Province, Indonesia (J.P. Blum, vii.1979); 9514-15 as Bime, 1500m, Jayawijaya District, Papua Province, Indonesia (J.P. Blum, v.1975); and 9546-48, 9550 as Bime Valley, 1500m, Jayawijaya District, Papua Province, Indonesia (J.P. Blum, v.1975). Paratype 9550 not found; 9529-31, 9534, 9537 were on loan at time of visits to collection, and their condition was not assessed. Other paratypes in good condition.
