Remarks: Entire type series of 95 specimens in UPNG. Paratypes 2839-40, 2842, 2855, 7462-63 not found. Description gave 7453-63, 9442-50, 9454-71 as collected 9.x.1996, and in providing more information on the type locality (1999: 356), alternatively gave the altitude as 2400m and the direction from Wau as SE. Paratypes 2849, 5605, 9471 are cleared-and-stained osteological preparations; 3985 is a skeleton. UPNG 2841 was sent to SAMA (UPNG register entry), where it is possibly one of two specimens under R13665 (Mt Edward Albert (collector not recorded, 16.vii.1971)): 13665A is an Albericus , while 13665B is an unidentified juvenile microhylid (S. Richards & M. Hutchinson, pers. comm.). Paratypes 9442-43 are Cophixalus , either C. kaindiensis or C. parkeri ( Kraus & Allison 2005b) ; 9444-50 are the same Cophixalus species. Tag 7462 is loose in a jar with paratypes 7456-61; same jar contains a specimen with tag PNGM 7134 but no UPNG tag. Located specimens in good condition.
