Holotype: UPNG 4644, Bundi Ridge, Agaun, 1200m, grid reference GK590020 View Materials , Milne Bay Province, PNG ( J. Menzies, 28.vi.1974).
Paratypes: UPNG 4634-43, 4645-51, data as for holotype, 5070-89, data as for holotype except altitude 1100m and date 11.xi.1974.
Remarks: Entire type series of 38 specimens in UPNG. Jar of paratypes also includes 4652, not listed in paratype series; however, it is so listed in the register. This is presumably in error, as the description stated (p. 248 and in Fig. 3) that there were 38 specimens in the type series, all of which are accounted for. Description gave date for holotype as 16.vi.1974 and altitude as 1200m for entire series. Types in good condition.
