Litoria vocivincens Menzies 1972: 296 .
Holotype: UPNG 1957, Brown River , near bridge, grid reference EK260826, Central Province, PNG ( J. Menzies, 21.iii.1970).
Paratypes: UPNG 1958-1967, data as for holotype, but date 15.iii.1970; 2015-23, data as for holotype, but date 2.v.1970.
Remarks: Type series consists of 20 specimens; paratypes 1958, 1967 were sent to BMNH in xi.1972, where they are registered as 1974.5466, 1974.5467 (B. Clarke, pers. comm.). Description gave locality data for entire series as Brown River Forestry Station, 10 o 48'S 147 o 14'E, about 25mi NW Port Moresby, Central Province, PNG (J.I. Menzies, 23.iii.1970). Type series in good condition, though a little faded.
