Holotype: UPNG 7281, Lower Kam Valley , Ok Tedi, map reference WK245253, Western Province, PNG ( J.I. Menzies, i.1985).
Paratypes: UPNG 7279-80, 7282-304, data as for holotype; 8406-07, Ok Ma, Ok Tedi, 600m, Western Province , PNG ( S. Richards, G. Johnston, ii.1992) .
Remarks: Type series consists of 28 specimens, all originally in UPNG; two (UPNG 7292-93) were sent to University of Adelaide (although only 7292 is so annotated in the register) and are now SAMA R38596-97. Paratypes 8406-07 not found; tag 7284 has come loose from specimen. UPNG register has annotation listing 7278 as part of the type series, though this specimen is not so listed in the description. Description gave the data for the series 7279-304 as valley of the Ok Tam, 760m, a tributary of the upper Ok Tedi, Western Province, PNG (J.I. Menzies, 23.i.1985), and for 8406-07 as road between Tabubil and the Ok Ma, a tributary of the upper Ok Tedi, Western Province, PNG (S. Richards). Located types in good condition.
