Remarks: Type series consists of 25 specimens; holotype and other paratypes in SAMA. Paratypes 8602-03, listed in description as from 12km S Tabubil, 5 o 22'S 141 o 17'E, Western Province, PNG (G.R. Johnston, S.J. Richards, 1- 20.vii.1993) not found. Tags for both specimens found loose in a jar with 9378, which was not listed in the description, while the register assigns 8602-03 to different specimens (a Litoria micromembrana and a juvenile Litoria sp. from Kuabono, Simbu Province). We are unable to resolve this discrepancy. Description gave date of collection for 8501-08 as 28.xi.1991. Located UPNG paratypes in good condition.
