Lagria unicolor Borchmann, 1941a: 6 (type locality: Myanmar, Kambaiti; description); Merkl 2019: 80 ( lectotype designated).

Diagnosis. Body usually unicolored black, widening in posterior half, but not strongly as other Ammocera species listed in the Table 1 of Merkl (2019); antennomere 4 with angulation; male antennomeres 5–10 with a small spine on the inner side (sometimes absent in antennomere 10, or just with an implicit spine).

Distribution. China (new country record): Xizang; Myanmar.

Remarks. The species was originally described from “Kambaiti” ( Borchmann 1941a), a place located in northern Myanmar near western Yunnan, China. The materials we examined implied a wider and westerly distribution.
